What is unusual about your hometown, place of work or job?

Manitoba is known as the polar bear capital of the world. The climate is a bit extreme 30 degrees Celsius (86 F) in the summer and -30 Celsius (-22 F) in the winter.

What does this year’s theme, “Everybody’s Union” mean to you?

That we are working together to achieve a common goal.

What issues will be important when your Local’s contract expires? 

Inflation.

What’s your go-to dance move? 

The Robot.

What things have you done or hope to do while you’re here?

I’m looking forward to experience Las Vegas and what the conference has to offer.

When I return home, I will strive to educate members on the workings of the USW internationally.
