What is unusual about your hometown, place of work or job?

Our plant has been there since 1930, and it’s the only plant in North America that makes Dove soap.

What does this year’s theme, “Everybody’s Union” mean to you?

Everyone is included. We leave no one behind.

What issues will be important when your Local’s contract expires?

Health care is a big one. Safety is always a big issue as well. Companies sometimes try to cut corners.

What’s your go-to dance move?

I like to do the “Biker’s Shuffle.”

Who would you most like to have dinner with, and why: Jennifer Lopez, Dwayne “the Rock” Johnson, George R.R. Martin, Liz Cheney, Michael Jordan or Drake?

I’d choose The Rock. I like his physical appearance, and I really like his overall personality.

What things have you done or hope to do while you’re here?

I’m gathering as much information as I can to take back to my local.

Have you yet decided how you will put the convention to work when you return home?

I’m learning about the Steelworkers Pension Trust (SPT). I plan to bring that to the table in bargaining. Our pension was taken away, and the issue can create division in our local.
